These classes are ongoing; please contact your teacher to confirm the class schedule before attending!- The Tuesday Drop-In Class at 5:30 PM is a beginner/intermediate class focusing on Oriental technique and combinations taught by Areena. - The Wednesday Drop-In Class at 5:30 PM is an intermediate class focusing on Oriental technique and group choreography taught by Deborah. For more information, contact Deborah at (505) 699-2887 or email her at dnewberg@USA.net. $12 each or purchase a 4-class punch card for $44!
Class Series with Deborah:
- The Friday Advanced Choreography Class is from 10:00-11:30 AM and is
multifaceted, but oriented toward performance. This is the class of the
student troupe, The Habibis. Permission is needed to join this class. (This

- To register for Deborah's 10:00 AM Saturday morning continuing ed. class, contact SFCC! This is a 6-week series held at Saltanah Studios. Register through SFCC cont.ed... www.sfcc.edu.
Santa Fe Community College Classes this spring!!!
Deborah is the belly dance instructor at Santa Fe Community College:
- SFCC Credit Class - Wednesdays 1:30 - 3:00 PM Class is full for this semester. This class fills up quickly, so register early for the spring semester through Santa Fe Community College in November... www.sfcc.edu.

"Bellydance Floorwork: From Classic to Fusion"
with Annya Ishtara of Taos!

There is still space available in Annya Ishtara's workshop, "Bellydance
Floorwork: From Classic to Fusion," so sign up now to hold your place!
We'll cover movements that range from simple yet lovely to more difficult
and dramatic. In addition to sinuous bellydance floorwork, the workshop will
also include floor movements from Rajasthani Kalbelia dance that can be
easily incorporated into bellydance, plus conditioning exercises to help you
safely execute beautiful, fluid floorwork. Floorwork can be strenuous, and
you may wish to bring knee pads.

From St. Francis Drive:
Turn West on Alameda (at the Burger King) and go 1.9 miles. After passing Calle Nopal, you'll see on your left the sign for West Side Studios, 2200 W. Alameda (just before Santa Fe Sleep Centers).Go all the way down the driveway, keep going until it opens into the huge dirt parking lot. On your left, the studio entrance is the big blue door with prayer flags. Enter and dance!
From the South and West side:
Take Cerrillos Road to Siler Road and go all the way through to W. Alameda and make a right. Go about a mile, pass Camino Carlos Rael, pass Santa Fe Sleep Center sign, and turn right at West Side Studios, 2200 W.Alameda. Go all the way down the driveway, keep going until it opens into the huge dirt parking lot. On your left, the studio entrance is the big blue door with prayer flags. Enter and dance!
