We have decided, despite rising prices everywhere, to keep our group class prices at the same reasonable rates that they have been since we opened 5 years ago. A series is $80 for the 7 weeks, and the Tuesday & Wednesday drop-in classes are $12 each.
Private lessons are available for $40 an hour.

New 7-week series begins March 2nd and runs through April 24th!

These are small group classes of no more than 8, so register early to be sure of a place. Beginner and Advanced classes are offered with detailed emphasis on musicality, technique, and group choreography. Register with your teacher, Deborah at 505.699.2887 or dnewberg@USA.net.

Drop-In Classes are ongoing unless otherwise specified.

"Fan Veil Workshop" with Alanah of NYC!

An incredible opportunity to study with Alanah, one of the finest dancers in NY whose exquisite Fan Veil choreography won 2nd place in the Belly Dance Nationals in Baltimore this year. Saturday will focus on technique; Sunday will be a beautiful choreography. (Alanah will also be available to teach privates.) Alanah makes beautiful, hand-dyed silk fan veils that she will have available for sale; these are of much higher quality than what is commercially available. Go out West Alameda, pass Camino Alire, pass Calle Nopal. On your left you’ll see the sign for West Side Studios, 2200 W. Alameda. Go all the way down the driveway, keep going until it opens into the huge dirt parking lot. On your left, the studio entrance is the big blue door with prayer flags. Enter and dance!
